Interreg Europe – GOOD CITIES

GOOD CITIES seeks to drive innovation in sharing economy services for consumer goods and urban spaces. Our goal is to improve resource efficiency and ensure equitable access to goods by integrating sharing systems into urban environments, ultimately reducing consumption and minimizing the ecological footprint of European citizens.

Through collaboration with local stakeholders and the application of targeted policy instruments, we aim to significantly decrease the volume of goods in circulation and mitigate the environmental impacts of consumption, while fostering well-being and enhancing social cohesion.

As part of this initiative, six public authorities will define their roles in the sharing economy, establish effective governance structures, and develop actionable strategies grounded in proven practices. This collective effort will empower cities to adopt robust policies and tools that build trust, promote collaboration, and provide the infrastructure needed to seamlessly embed sharing into urban life.
