BIOGAS

By using biogas as a fuel in internal combustion engines, significant energy needs for the production of heat and electricity can be covered.

Biogas consists mainly of methane and carbon dioxide and is produced by the anaerobic digestion of livestock mainly by waste, such as waste from pigs, poultry, hoes, and industrial and urban organic waste.

With regard to livestock waste, biogas is produced in special facilities. In addition to biogas, very good quality organic fertilizer is produced, whose marketing can contribute to the economic viability of an application of this kind. In the case of urban waste, biogas is produced in Landfills.
