ROSEWOOD4.0 – 2nd Validation Workshop

ROSEWOOD4.0 – 2nd Validation Workshop

ROSEWOOD4.0 supports and promotes sustainable wood mobilisation in Europe by pooling information and knowledge, enabling cooperation and innovation and supporting new business opportunities across five regional wood mobilisation hubs. ROSEWOOD4.0 focuses on digitalisation and digital tools, promoting ICT-driven solutions for forestry and enabling practitioners to share knowhow with much wider impact.

The project gathers 21 project partners from 19 countries in 5 regional hubs. The Southeast Europe (SEE) Hub  covers Croatia, Greece and Slovenia and project partners Competence Centre Ltd., the Bioenergy and Environment Cluster of Western Macedonia and the Slovenian Forestry Institute.

In the SEE Hub, the project partners and regional experts prepared a SWOT analysis with the aim to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the application of digital solutions in forestry, wood industry and related education sector.

The findings were discussed in SEE’s 2nd validation workshop held on Monday, 28th of September 2020, also as part of the 13th WoodEMA 2020 – International Scientific. Furthermore, the workshop focused on presentation of SEE Hub best practices and prioritization of best practices from other Hubs.
