NE Hub Finnish partners LUAS and Luke, wish you all very welcome to attend our virtual Study Visit on Wednesday 15th of September at 9:00 CET (10:00 EET in Finland). The visit will last 1,5 hours.
Social acceptance of forestry is a hot topic at the moment because of planned EU politics concerning forests, biodiversity and climate change. Dissemination of knowledge – to both general public and authorities – on practical forestry and it’s determined developing work to renew the practices to more ecological, it’s many renewable products and the importance of efficient silviculture in the fight against climate change is a way to influence on acceptance. On our Study Visit, we will introduce our Best Practice “Finnish Forest Association”. The owners of the BP will present the Association and their ongoing campaign “Forest Finland”.
