HORIZON2020 funded project ROSEWOOD4.0 European Network of Regions On Sustainable WOOD Mobilisation ready for Digitalisation gathers 21 project partners from 19 countries in 5 regional hubs. The Southeast Europe Hub covers Croatia, Greece and Slovenia and project partners Competence Centre Ltd., the Bioenergy and Environment Cluster of Western Macedonia and the Slovenian Forestry Institute.

ROSEWOOD4.0 project is directed to enhance actual ROSEWOOD EU network of regions allowing stakeholders of the wood mobilisation value-chain to connect and share best practices in the field. The final aim is to transfer efficiently the knowledge intra-regionally and across regions through modern tools such as digital platforms, digital trainings solutions, etc.

ROSEWOOD4.0 is focused on digitally supported best practices and innovations as transferable solutions ready to be adopted by local practitioners in project regions and beyond.

Project partners and regional experts, prepared SWOT analysis of the region with the aim to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the application of digital solutions in the forestry, wood industry and related education sector.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd South East Europe Hub validation workshop which will be held on:

Monday, 28th of September 2020, starting at 11:00 a.m.

ROSEWOOD4.0 South East Europe Hub 2nd validation workshop will be concentrated at the  presentation of SEE Hub best practices, prioritization of best practices from other Hubs and the SWOT analysis.

The workshop will be held as part of the 13th WoodEMA 2020 – International Scientific Conference on the Sustainability of the Wood Industry in the Global Economy. The conference is organized by the association WoodEMA i.a., Forestry Faculty of Zagreb University and Competence Center Ltd.

Due to restrictions caused by COVID-19 pandemic, the workshop will take place physically in Vinkovci, Croatia in combination with virtual event via Zoom application.
