26 Ιαν Become a Member Cluster of the European Bioeconomy Clusters’ Alliance (EBCA)
The European Bioeconomy Clusters Alliance (EBCA) is a collaborative initiative that brings together leading national and regional bioeconomy clusters with the shared goal of accelerating the transition towards a sustainable, regenerative and circular bioeconomy across Europe. Formally established in 2025, EBCA fosters cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the European circular bioeconomy and support the sustainable use of land and sea resources.
By fostering structured cooperation among research organisations, industry stakeholders, public authorities and key involved actors, the Alliance facilitates the transfer of knowledge and best practices across regions and sectors. EBCA plays a key role in bridging the gap between innovation and real-world implementation, enabling easier access to funding opportunities, supporting the development of joint projects at regional, national, and European levels, and empowering local bioeconomy ecosystems through shared learning, capacity building, and strategic alignment.
For its initial six-month term, CluBE (Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia) is serving as EBCA’s first acting Secretariat. Bioeconomy clusters interested in expanding their European networks, increasing visibility, and actively contributing to the advancement of a resilient and competitive bioeconomy are invited to engage with the Alliance.
