Την Τετάρτη 15 Μαρτίου 2023, ώρα 11:00-14:00, πραγματοποιήθηκε Ημερίδα Βιοοικονομίας (Bioeconomy Info Day), στο αμφιθέατρο «Κωνσταντίνος Καραμανλής» στο ισόγειο του Διοικητηρίου της Περιφέρειας Δυτικής Μακεδονίας, στη ΖΕΠ Κοζάνης.
Η ημερίδα διοργανώθηκε από το Cluster Βιοοικονομίας και Περιβάλλοντος Δυτικής Μακεδονίας-CluBE, υπό την αιγίδα της Αντιπεριφέρειας Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης Δυτικής Μακεδονίας, με την υποστήριξη του Περιφερειακού Παραρτήματος Δυτικής Μακεδονίας του Γεωτεχνικού Επιμελητηρίου Ελλάδας (ΓΕΩΤ.Ε.Ε./Π.Δ.Μ.), στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου BIOTRANSFORM του προγράμματος Horizon Europe που χρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση.
Το έργο BIOTRANSFORM στοχεύει στην επιτάχυνση της μετάβασης από τη γραμμική οικονομία και τα γραμμικά συστήματα, που βασίζονται σε ορυκτά καύσιμα, στην κυκλική βιοοικονομία και σε κυκλικά βιο-βασιζόμενα συστήματα. Στο έργο συμμετέχει το CluBE, σε ένα σύνολο 10 εταίρων, από 8 ευρωπαϊκές χώρες.
Στην ημερίδα παρευρέθηκαν εκπρόσωποι φορέων χάραξης πολιτικής και επιχειρήσεων της Περιφέρειας Δυτικής Μακεδονίας και μέλη ερευνητικών και εκπαιδευτικών ιδρυμάτων. Στα πλαίσια της ημερίδας διεξήχθη ανοιχτή συζήτηση αναφορικά με τους τρόπους με τους οποίους μπορούν οι φορείς της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας να επωφεληθούν πρακτικά μέσω του συγκεκριμένου έργου καθώς και σχετικά με τις προοπτικές ανάπτυξης της βιοοικονομίας στην Περιφέρεια. Επίσης, οι συμμετέχοντες συμμετείχαν σε μια σύντομη έρευνα, σχετική με τη βιοοικονομία.

On Wednesday March 15, 2023, at 11:00-14:00, a Bioeconomy Info Day was held, in the Konstantinos Karamanlis amphitheater on the ground floor of the Regional Administration of Western Macedonia, in ZEP Kozani.
The Info day was organized by the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia-CluBE, under the auspices of the Rural Development Department of Western Macedonia, with the support of the Regional Branch of Western Macedonia of the
Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOT.E.E./P.D.M.), in the context of the European project BIOTRANSFORM of the Horizon Europe program funded by the European Union.
BIOTRANSFORM aims to accelerate the transition from the linear economy and linear fossil-based systems to the circular bioeconomy and circular bio-based systems. CluBE participates in the project, in a total of 10 partners, from 8 European countries.
The Info day was attended by policy-makers and business representatives of the Region of Western Macedonia as well as members of research and educational institutions. As part of the conference, an open discussion was held regarding the ways in which the policy makers and the stakeholders of Western Macedonia can benefit practically from the specific project, as well as regarding the bioeconomy development prospects in the Region. Participants also took part in a short survey related to the bioeconomy.
